Need A City Sticker? Chicago Clerk’s ‘Mobile City Hall’ Events Kick Off This Weekend, Run Through September

An initiative that aims to bring city clerk services directly to Chicago residents is returning this weekend.

The “Mobile City Hall” initiative, hosted by the City Clerk’s Office, is kicking off its first event of the year Saturday, with other opportunities taking place through September.

At these pop-up events, residents can obtain a free CityKey card and purchase a city vehicle sticker, dog licenses and residential parking daily permits.

“Mobile City Hall” events take place weekends and during the evening on weekdays to help accommodate residents who have difficulty getting to City Hall or the city clerk’s satellite offices during regular business hours.

Tuesday, Aug. 5: Emmanuel Baptist Church (Auburn Gresham) | 4-7 p.m. | 8301 S. Damen Ave.
Tuesday, Aug. 12: Robert Taylor Park (Bronzeville) | 4-7 p.m. | 39 W. 47th St.
Saturday, Aug. 23: B.U.I.L.D. Chicago (Austin) | 10 a.m.-1 p.m. | 5100 W. Harrison St.
Tuesday, Aug. 26: Nathaniel Hale Park (Clearing) | 4-7 p.m. | 6258 W. 62nd St.
Saturday, Sept. 6: Hegewisch Business Association (Hegewisch) | 10 a.m.-1 p.m. | 13323 S. Green Bay Ave.
Saturday, Sept. 13: Broadway Armory Park (Edgewater) | 10 a.m.-1 p.m. | 5917 N. Broadway

The events are returning this year in a “regionalized” and “expanded” format, according to the City Clerk’s Office.

Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about services offered by other participating organizations, including several city departments, agencies, community organizations and elected offices.
